Dao Van has spent over 15 years in the professional beauty industry world serving her wonderful clients and continuously learning and developing skills in the latest trends and technology. More recently she has expanded her service offerings at a newly built beauty studio and academy in Oakville Ontario.
Her passion for teaching was inspired by her love of helping others find their beauty potential. As an educator, she loves sharing her knowledge with students who are eager to learn new skills and techniques that will help them build confidence and success in the salon industry. The academy is equipped with the latest equipment and supplies and taught in a clean open learning environment that allows students to practice what they learn in class through hands-on experience.

The Classic, also known as individual eyelash extensions, originated in Korea back in 2003. When one extension is being attached onto one single natural lash. This technique is great for people who want a natural look with some added length and curls without wearing mascara.
The number of Classic eyelash extensions greatly depends on the number of healthy lashes. An average person has about 150-200 lashes per eye. But, we only apply eyelash extensions on mature, strong healthy lashes.

This technique, also known as Russian volume, originated from Russia about 5-6 years ago. This style is great for people who are looking to have fuller and voluminous lashes.
To achieve this look, the lash stylist will attach anywhere from 2-6 extensions onto a single natural lash. Volume lashes are even lighter than your natural lashes with mascara on! give off a feathery and 3D effect, less glue, lasts longer, fuller and sexier

Fancy volume is also known as Mega Russian. This technique is the latest development in the eyelash industry. Created to provide clients with the increased volume they demand without damaging the natural lashes.
These volume lashes are superfine and incredibly light weight, 2-8 lashes can be applied per natural lash to create amazing mega volume on any type of eyelash to create that dramatic diva look.

Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique that is used to create natural-looking eyebrows. It’s done manually using a handheld tool with very fine needles, shaped like a blade, to recreate stroke-like hair.
This is ideal for clients who are looking to fill in patchy, thin, and/or uneven eyebrows for the most natural-looking results.
As a student, you do not need any prerequisite to learn this course! Here, you will learn all about the eyebrow theory, eyebrow mapping, pigmentation, and have a chance for hands-on practice on mannequins & live models.
All students will be certified after completing all assignments and submitting three live models.

Powdered brow is a different method for achieving the look of fuller eyebrows.
This semi-permanent technique uses a handheld machine to create the perfect soft makeup look, similar to powder makeup.
This method can be combined with the microblading technique to create an entirely different look that is fluffy, more natural, and seamless, we call it Ombré eyebrows.
This is perfect for clients who draw on their eyebrows every day, correct sparse and/or over-plucked eyebrows, refine eyebrow shape, definition, and lift for a more youthful look.
